It's been a while since my last post, and in that time I've moved from Chicago to the Grand Rapids area. [I meant to post about that...and then never did.] Anyway, now I'm a part of the crew at IDEOLOGY Productions working on their post production stuff. Earlier this year we had the opportunity to put together a promo video inviting peeps to dream grand and go explore Grand Rapids. This was a big project with IDEOLOGY doing all the planning, shooting and post production. It was great how much post production there was.
This project is full of great work from everyone at the studio. The elements I worked on were animating water ripples and brook trout, the splash transition. The cartoony looking stuff behind the curb and the scooter smoke in the bar top shot. The portals on the color wall (except for the shot where the woman walks through). The bouncing cartoon speakers and the swirly logo transition at the end.
